No threat from suspicious package

Police say there is no threat from a suspicious package found in Monument.

A soft-sided lunchbox was found near the Santa Fe trail head on 3rd street.

Police say it was was in a strange place, that’s what prompted the police and bomb squad response.

All streets that were closed because of the investigation are back open.
