3 Arrested After Assaulting A Woman On Videotape

Colorado Springs police are investigating an assault that was videotaped Thursday night.

It happened in the 200 block of N. Murray Blvd. around 10 p.m. Thursday.

Officers were later dispatched to Memorial Hospital after reports of an assault.

A 27-year-old woman suffered serious injuries after being punched and kicked. Police said three women assaulted her while a man videotaped it.

Officers said they arrested the three women on the tape and identified the man.

Two of the women who were arrested have been identified as Marena Alexander, 29, and Rebecca Champigny, 24.
