Inmate walks away from federal prison camp

An inmate walked away from the minimum security prison camp at the Federal Correctional Complex in Florence.

Pablo Ramirez, 35, was last accounted for at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 19th.

Ramirez is described as a white man, 5’06” tall, 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

He is serving a 60 month federal sentence for Interstate Travel In Aid of An Unlawful Activity. He arrived at the minimum security prison camp located in Florence Colorado, on November 22, 2011, and is a native of Brownsville, Texas.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation, United States Marshals Service and other law enforcement agencies have been notified.
