Sierra High School on brief lockdown

Sierra High School was on a short lockdown Friday morning because of a disturbance near the school.

Colorado Springs Police say they were called to a disturbance at the nearby Southeast YMCA on Jet Wing Drive shortly before 9:00 a.m. and then searched the area for a suspect who was thought to have a gun.

Police say Callison Dewayne Pruitt AKA “Snoop Murder” threw a rock through a window of an apartment at 4300 Hawks Lookout Lane and the residents of the apartment then started looking for Pruitt.

They eventually found Pruitt at the Southeast YMCA and that’s where the disturbance happened, which police say involved chairs being thrown.

Police searched for Puitt in the area and and he was arrested on misdemeanor charges of criminal mischief and harassment.

There was some fear someone involved may have had a gun but police say no gun was found.
