CSPD searches for juvenile who ran from traffic stop

Colorado Springs Police are looking for a juvenile who ran away during a traffic stop on Tuesday morning.

Police tell us they pulled over a speeding vehicle near Landmark Lane and E Fountain Blvd. That is near the intersection of Fountain and Chelton.

During the traffic stop, officers determined that the license plates did not match the vehicle. Further, the vehicle was also found to be stolen. Officers ordered the two juveniles to get out of the car.

Police were able to apprehend the driver of the vehicle, but the passenger in the car ran away.

Police are now searching for this second juvenile near the Landmark Terrace Apartment complex.
