Missing mental health patient taken into custody

A man who walked away from the Colorado Mental Health Institute at Pueblo last month is now in custody.

46-year-old Donald Jensen was on pass from institute but didn’t return at his designated time on July 18th.

Jensen was taken into custody and booked into the Pueblo County Jail on Wednesday. CMHIP had no other details regarding his return.

In 2004, Jensen was found not guilty by reason of insanity to 2 counts of second-degree assault.
