Update: Woman Falls From Motorcycle / DUI charges for Driver

A woman fell off the back of a motorcycle Friday night, forcing the closure of several lanes along I-25 near Circle.

Afterwards, the bike’s driver, 22 year-old Michael Hinton, was charged with DUI, Vehicular Assault, and Reckless Driving, according to CSPD. It’s not clear if the woman was also intoxicated.

The accident happened just after 8:00pm Friday. The on-ramp reopened shortly after 10:00pm.

The north-bound merge lanes were closed for the accident investigation, but three primary lanes of traffic remained open.

Troopers have said only that the woman’s injuries are serious.
