Body found near Colorado Ave and 31st Street

Colorado Springs Police tell KRDO NewsChannel 13 that a body was found in the 2900 block of Colorado Ave.

Police tell us they don’t believe the death is suspicious at this time. The body is believed to be that of a local transient and may have been there for a few days. A person walking in the area discovered the body on Wednesday and called police. Police say there was a bottle of alcohol next to the man who is believed to be in his 50s.
