Preschool teacher arrested on child porn charges

A 45-year-old Denver preschool teacher has been arrested on child porn charges.

The Denver Post (http://bit.ly/MRqs9D ) reports David Moe was arrested Tuesday on charges of distributing and possessing child porn. He has taught at Paddington Station for 18 years and has been director of before- and after-school programs and enrichments at the school since 2005.

Jeff Dorschner, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, says a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent in San Diego observed child porn available for downloading on another computer that led to Moe and others. Investigators say they found child porn on Moe’s computer and on DVDs and CDs in his home.

The preschool says the teacher has been placed on leave.
