Police: Grand Junction man forced child to drink alcohol

A Grand Junction man is accused of physically forcing a 9-year-old to drink alcohol.

According to our ABC-affiliate in Grand Junction, KJCT, 26-year-old Brady Sipe gave alcohol to five kids and an 18-year-old girl.

An arrest affidavit says that Sipe offered beer to a nine-year-old who refused. Police say he then held the child down on the ground and forced him/her to drink.

Sipe was arrested on Wednesday and booked on several charges in this case including six counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, five charges of serving alcohol to minors, three counts of child abuse, and one charge each of resisting arrest and harassment.
