Construction closes Interstate 25 in Denver

Transportation officials said Interstate 25 will be closed both ways in Denver this weekend to allow construction crews to install a bridge girder.

Kevin Ryburn with the Colorado Department of Transportation said crews will be working on the 15th Street bridge over the interstate Saturday and Sunday nights. 15th Street will also be closed during the construction.

The interstate will be fully closed from 11 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday and from 11 p.m. Sunday to 5:30 a.m. Monday.
