Log Specialist

Position: Log Specialist

KRDO-TV, located on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, is seeking a Log Specialist to maintain formats for News-Press & Gazette’s television stations in addition to providing daily support of programming and inventory needs for NPG stations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be expected to ensure that all programming is accurate each day and all required criteria is in place prior to locking the log and delivering log to Master Control; working closely with Traffic Managers at all stations to ensure that programs and format are maintained to minimize exceptions; ensure timely completion of programming changes; perform log reconciliations in compliance with audit requirements; and serve as a point of contact with Wide Orbit for NPG and facilitate upgrades at NPG stations; maintain Wide Orbit database to ensure accuracy and enable data sharing.

Qualifications:

Two years of television traffic experience is preferred as well as knowledge of the Wide Orbit traffic system. Candidate must have strong analytical skills, excellent communication and customer service skills along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Ability to work a flexible schedule is required.
