Springs’ high school teacher arrested for alleged sex assault

A high school teacher was arrested over the weekend for allegedly sexually assaulting a student.

Travis Clark, a 32-year-old Liberty High School teacher, is accused of Sexual Assault on a Child by One in a Position of Trust.

The investigation began in March when Liberty High School administrators were notified of possible sexual contact between Clark and a student. The student and other witnesses were interviewed and Clark was suspended pending the results of the investigation.

Over the course of the next few months, several search warrants were secured and probable cause was established to arrest Clark. Clark turned himself in to CJC on Saturday.
