Man arrested for allegedly stalking ex-girlfriend

A man was arrested Sunday evening for allegedly stalking his ex-girlfriend.

Colorado Springs Police officers found probable cause that 30-year-old James Wayne Ernst was stalking his ex-girlfriend. Police say that Ernst sent several people text messages that threatened her life.

As officers continued their investigation, they found out that Ernst was aggressively trying to locate the victim. The Domestic Violence Unit was contacted and assisted in the investigation.

Police were able to find Ernst at his listed home address in the 3800 block of Radiant Drive and arrested him for Felony Stalking. He was booked without incident into CJC.
