New evacuations lifted

Colorado Springs city officials said they have lifted evacuations for more 20 more homes in the Mountain Shadows area.

On Sunday, residents who live on Courtney Drive and Harbor Pine Street were allowed to return home. The only exception are two homes on Harbor Pine, where there was significant damage to water and gas lines due to the Waldo Canyon Fire.

The lifted evacuations include Majestic Drive south of Hot Springs Ct. and Hot Springs Ct (2515-2549). Residents are allowed to return home after 5 p.m. July 7th.

The city asks that onlookers stay away from the Mountain Shadows neighborhood as some are causing traffic problems.
