Springs Police offer $50K reward to catch Waldo Canyon Fire burglary suspects

Colorado Springs Police offer a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the Waldo Canyon Fire burglary suspect or suspects.

Police Chief Pete Carey says the money was given to police from an anonymous donor. Police say that anyone who provide information leading to the arrest of person related to the break-ins will be eligible for up toa $50,000 reward. If they receive several solid tips, the money will be split up based on the information provided.

Investigators tell us they’ve had reports of at least 22 home burglaries in the fire evacuation area and 66 cars being broken into, 16 of which are confirmed to belong to evacuees.
