Fireworks business shut down

The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office investigates the possible sale of illegal fireworks and closes down a fireworks business.

Deputies say they received information that fireworks were being sold at Big Top Fireworks, 1400 Santa Fe Dr.

Investigators checked it out, and said they saw illegal and legal fireworks being sold at the business.

The Sheriff’s office closed down the business and is working with the Tenth Judicial District Attorney’s Office on pending charges.

Pueblo County is under a Stage II fire ban.
