Some Springs evacuees return home

The following is a map of the new mandatory evacuation areas. Many mandatory evacuations were lifted on Friday evening, including those who live in Cedar Heights, Woodmen Hills, and Pinon Valley. Areas east of 30th St. and north of Garden of the Gods have reopened except for Grand Centennial Apartments, Reed Ranch subdivision, and Bluffside Terrace. Those areas are still evacuated due to utilities issues. The south Rockrimmon area is also open to the interstate.
