Help victims of Waldo Canyon fire

The Waldo Canyon Fire is destroying land, structures and displacing thousands in Colorado Springs. United Way of Pueblo County encourages those who wish to donate to help the victims of this fire. There are many ways to lend a helping hand.

Monetary donations can be made through www.pueblounitedway.org (be sure detail that the give is to be designated to the ‘Waldo Canyon Fire’ by clicking the + in the second step of the Paypal process).

You can also make your contribution directly through the Pikes Peak Chapter American Red Cross and designate to the ‘Waldo Canyon Fire.’ Donations can be made through www.pparc.org or www.redcross.org. You can also donate over the phone by calling 719-785-2700.

Pikes Peak United Way is also accepting monetary donations. Donations can be at www.ppunitedway.org. Be sure to make a note that you wish to designate to the ‘Waldo Canyon Fire’. Once on the Pikes Peak United Way website, you can click on the photo of the fire for additional information.

Donations are also being sought to help take care of the many displaced animals through the Pikes Peak Humane Society. More information can be found at www.hsppr.org.
