Ballot drop-off locations for Teller & El Paso Counties

The El Paso County Citizens Service Center will be open and all services available during normal business hours on Monday June 25, 2012.

Voters wishing to drop off ballots are reminded that the Clerk and Recorder’s Office provides several locations in addition to drop off at Citizens Service Center.

Ballots can be dropped at three other locations to avoid the emergency operations traffic on Garden of the Gods Road as well as smoke from the fire.

On Monday, June 25, curb side ballot drop-off will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Election Day it will be available from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The Clerk & Recorder’s branch offices are:

Main – Citizens Service Center – 1675 W. Garden of the Gods Road

North – 8830 N. Union Blvd (Research Pkwy and Union Blvd)

Southeast – 5650 Industrial Place (Powers Blvd and Airport Rd)

Downtown – Centennial Hall – 200 S. Cascade Ave (Cascade and Vermijo)

Ballots must be in the possession of the County Clerk & Recorder by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day in order to be counted.

Postmarks will not be honored.

Voters are encouraged to drop-off their ballots at one of the Clerk’s branch offices or additional ballot drop-off locations.

There are also three additional walk-in ballot drop-off locations that are available on Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Election Day from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Additional ballot drop-off locations:

East – Charles C. “Chuck” Brown Transportation and Environment Complex – 3275 Akers Drive

South – City of Fountain City Hall – 116 South Main Street

North – Town of Palmer Lake – City Clerk’s Office – 42 Valley Crescent; this location only is open 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 25.

In Teller County, ballots can be dropped off all day at the Clerk and Recorder’s offices in Cripple Creek and Woodland Park on Monday. All vote centers will be open on Tuesday.
