Power outage affects 1300 in Pueblo West

There is a power outage in Pueblo West that is affecting about 1,350 customers on Tuesday evening.

San Isabel Electric confirms to KRDO NewsChannel 13 that the outage is in the eastern portion of their service area near U.S. 50 and S Purcell Blvd.

Service crews have isolated the problem in the underground system and say it was likely caused by heat.

There is currently no estimate for restoration but crews hope to have service restored quickly.
