Deputies look for Black Forest home burglar

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in finding a man suspected of several home burglaries in the Black Forest area.

Deputies say the burglaries are usually committed on Mondays and Wednesdays during daylight hours. The suspect enters homes through unlocked doors or by forcing entry. He then steals electronic items such as flat screen televisions, laptop computers, iPads, as well as jewelry.

The suspect is described as a white man in his early to mid 30s, 6 feet tall with a medium build. He has brown hair and was seen wearing a grey T-shirt and blue jeans.

The Sheriff’s Office has limited information about the suspect’s vehicle except that it is a silver mid-sized car.

Anyone with information about these burglaries or the suspect are asked to contact the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center at 719-390-5555.
