Police: toddler admitted to hospital with suspicious burns
Colorado Springs Police said a toddler was admitted to Memorial Hospital with suspicious burns early Saturday morning.
The 2-year-old boy suffered second-degree burns to his feet.
Officers were dispatched to the toddler’s home in the 500 block of East Brookside after medical staff expressed concerns about possible non-accidental trauma to the boy.
Detectives said they interviewed the boy’s family members and searched their home.
Noone was arrested.
The El Paso County Department of Human Services has been notified.
