Former Ellicott board member pleads guilty to sexual assault

Former Ellicott School board member, Stefanie Dickinson, pleaded guilty Wednesday morning to sexual assault.

38-year-old Dickinson stepped down last year amid allegations that she sexually assaulted a 17-year-old boy and sent lewd text messages to another teen. She faces 10 years to life on sex offender intensive supervised parole. With this agreement, she will avoid prison time. The judge said that Dickinson cannot have contact with anyone under 18, including her children, until her sentencing in October.

The plea deal also calls for dismissal of sexting charges related to another teenager.
