Northbound I-25 Open After Gravel Spill

Northbound I-25 has reopened north of Pueblo after a gravel spill.

A truck spilled gravel on the interstate causing one car to roll over. The driver of that vehicle suffered only minor injuries and was not transported to the hospital. He tells KRDO NewsChannel 13 that his car went over the gravel and rolled; and that the accident happened very quickly.

Northbound I-25 was closed for about an hour on Monday and reopened at 11:15 a.m. A snow plow and street sweeper cleaned the roads.

Colorado State Patrol says that some vehicles sustained cracked windshields but couldn’t specify the exact number.
