Crews Make Progress On 2 Colorado Wildfires

Crews are continuing to battle a wildfire that has scorched nearly 8 square miles near Pagosa Springs.

The lightning-caused fire started last month.

No structures have burned.

Meanwhile, a fire that has burned nearly 9 square miles of rugged terrain north of Paradox near the Utah border was 96 percent contained Sunday afternoon.

That fire was reported May 25 and is believed to be human-caused.
