Air Force Academy Continues Drug Investigation

The Air Force Academy issued an update on Monday regarding their ongoing investigation into illegal drug use by cadets.

The investigation began in January 2012 and involved 31 cadets. So far:

~13 of the cadets have been cleared of allegations of substance abuse ~Non-judicial punishment has been accomplished for eight cadets. Two of the cadets have been disenrolled and six are pending disenrollment. ~Non-judicial punishment is pending for one cadet. ~Special court martial is pending for one cadet ~Two reports of investigation that have been published are awaiting command decision.

Six more cadets are still being investigated.
