Teens Caught Stealing Bikes From Local Store

Two teens were arrested, accused of stealing from a Bike Shop in Colorado Springs, according to Colorado Springs police.

Police said the burglar alarm rang around 2 a.m. Saturday at the Colorado Springs bike shop on West Colorado Avenue.

Officials said officers saw several people inside the business when they arrived. They surrounded the outside of the business and called in a K-9 unit, police said. Officials said two of the teens exited the building and surrendered before police moved inside.

Police said the teens were able to steal four bicycles, but officers recovered all four bicycles. Both teens were arrested on second-degree burglary charges.
