Homicide Charges In Texting While Driving Death

A warning for the millions of Americans driving while texting. If there’s an accident, you could be charged with homicide.

A teenager in Massachusetts is believed to be the first driver in the nation in court facing a charge that could send him to prison. Aaron Deveau is now on trial facing homicide charges after he collided head on with with a car driven by 55-year old Donald Bowley.Bowley died 18 days later.

Phone records show Deveau received 4 text messages in the minutes before the crash, including 1 right before the accident.
