Pedestrian Hit By Car At Academy And Flintridge
A pedestrian was hit by a car around 1:45 p.m. Friday at N Academy Blvd and Flintridge Dr.
Police tell us that a man was trying to cross the street when he shouldn’t have. He dodged a car but fell down and was hit by another car. There are unconfirmed reports that the pedestrian is mentally handicapped.
The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Northbound Academy was closed for about an hour after the accident.
