Power Restored Near N Academy And Vickers

Power has been restored to customers in the northeast area of Colorado Springs after an outage put about 1,000 customers in the dark.

The outage, caused by equipment failure, affected customers in the area around N Academy Blvd, N Union Blvd, and Vickers Dr. The outage began before noon Wednesday, and by 12:45 p.m., power was mostly restored. Power was fully restored to all customers shortly thereafter.
