Catholic Priest Turns Himself In To Police

UPDATE: Father Charles ‘Robert” Manning is currently out on $10,000 bail. He turned himself in Tuesday.

Police issued an arrest warrant for Father Charles “Robert” Manning, former Priest of St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church.

Police are not revealing much information on the case, except to say that all affidavits are sealed and no comment can be made at this time.

The investigation of Manning on sexual abuse charges began after allegations were made on January 4, and police were immediately alerted.

Manning was suspended pending the police investigation, and retired shortly thereafter.
