Traffic Advisory In Springs Wednesday For AFA Graduation

In anticipation of the high volume of traffic for tomorrow’s United States Air Force Academy Graduation, the Colorado Springs Police Department is advising travelers to expect significant road closures.

CSPD says traffic will be impacted for parents going to graduations at both Wasson and Doherty High Schools. They ask that you leave early to ensure you can reach the events on time.

The Graduation Ceremony is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. Wednesday and will include a demonstration from the USAF Thunderbirds in the skies over Falcon Stadium.

President Barack Obama will be the commencement speaker.

We plan to livestream the graduation ceremonies tomorrow on KRDO.com.
