The father of a 2-month-old boy has been arrested for allegedly causing serious injuries to his child.

The investigation began on May 7th when a baby was treated for a severe head injury at Parkview Medical Center facilities in Pueblo West and Pueblo. The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office says the baby was in his father’s care when the head injury occurred.

The father, 19-year-old Kurt Keetch, was arrested this week for child abuse causing serious injuries. The baby is now being treated at Children’s Hospital Colorado in Denver and is in the custody of the Department of Social Services. His condition is not known at this time.
