OneRepublic Drummer Arrested In Denver

Eddie Fisher, the drummer for the Denver-based rock band OneRepublic, was arrested in Denver early Tuesday according to our sister station, KMGH-TV.

Fisher, 38, was arrested on suspicion of assault, disturbing the peace, and destruction of private property, police said.

The website GossipCop.com said the musician was reported to have gone on a “destructive rampage, although it?s not clear what triggered the behavior.” He was arrested at 440 17th St. near an apartment complex, the website said.

Fisher is scheduled to appear Wednesday afternoon in Denver County Court.

OneRepublic was nominated for a Grammy in 2009 and has sold almost 2 million albums and 8 million singles, according to the band’s website.
