Brief Lockdown At Florence High School

Florence High School was locked down for a short time on Monday morning after a citizen reported a suspicious person in the area.

According to the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office, someone reported seeing a person in a green jumpsuit, much like an inmate’s, walking in the area. Florence High School was locked down while The Department of Corrections conducted a head count.

All inmates have been accounted for and the school lockdown was lifted. The suspicious person was never located.
