Police Investigate 2 Different Armed Robberies

Colorado Springs police are investigating two different armed robberies Sunday morning.

The first robbery happened shortly before one in the morning at the 7/11 on South Circle Drive.

Police say a man walked into the store, told the clerk he had a weapon and demanded money.

In that robbery, the suspect is described as a white man in his 20’s. He’s about 5’4 with reddish hair and a 1-2 inch goatee.

The second robbery happened at the 7/11 on Astrozon Boulevard shortly after 5 Sunday morning.

In that robbery, a man with a sharp object, possibly a knife, demanded money from the clerk.

He was wearing a t-shirt around his head.
