Springs Police Looking For Couple Accused Of Fraud

Colorado Springs Police are on the lookout for a man and woman accused of defrauding people out of tens of thousands of dollars.

Andre O’Neil Allen and Denise Ratliff are accused of using a foreign lottery scheme to fool people into giving them money.

The Winchester, Mass., Police Department contacted Colorado Springs Police about a victim on the East Coast who suffered a financial loss after allegedly falling for the couple’s scheme.

The victim was told he won a large foreign lottery and would receive his winnings if he paid processing fees and banking charges.

The investigation uncovered 18 additional victims.

Officials estimate Allen and Ratliff have received more than $27,000 through their deception.

Allen is wanted for 26 counts of theft and computer crimes, and Ratliff is wanted for one count of theft and computer crimes.
