Cars Damaged In Late Night Fire

Three cars were damaged after one caught fire early Thursday morning in Colorado Springs.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. in an apartment complex parking lot on Mesa Springs View, just south of Fillmore off Chestnut.

Police say 2 cars were on fire when they arrived, the fire department got the cars out quickly, but another car was damaged before the fire was put out.

A fire department arson investigator determined the cause of the fire was accidental.

There were no injuries.
