Arizona Fugitives Arrested In Colorado

Two suspects wanted in connection to a homicide in Arizona have been arrested near Rifle, Colo.

Investigators from the Phoenix Police Department informed Colorado State Patrol that they had reason to believe 31-year-old Allen Robinson and 30-year-old Susan Gonzalez, both Arizona residents, were traveling through Garfield County.

After receiving information that the pair was possibly traveling eastbound on I-70, Troopers pulled over a 1992 Honda Accord. Gonzales and Robinson were taken into custody without incident. Two children, an 11-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl, were also in the vehicle. The children were placed into temporary custody with the Colorado Department of Human Services.

Phoenix police say Robinson is considered a suspect in the fatal drive-by shooting of 20-year-old Francisco Juarez on May 6th. Gonzalez was also wanted for questioning.
