Power Restored In Southeast Springs

Power has been restored to about 1,300 customers in southeastern Colorado Springs.

The outage happened around 10:00 a.m. Wednesday and was restored by 11:00 a.m.

Colorado Springs Utilities says the outage was caused by equipment failure.

Customers were affected in the area south of Powers Blvd and Fountain Blvd. Colorado Springs Airport also lost power from CSU but used backup power sources.
