Memorial Service Set For Girls Killed In Pueblo Crash

A memorial service has been scheduled for three girls who were killed in a traffic crash on Saturday.

The service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday in the Alamosa High School gymnasium.

Anisa Montoya, 18, Serina Sena, 14, and Selena Mascarenas, 14, were killed when the car they were in was struck by a truck driven by Gilbert Sanchez. Sanchez was arrested for charges including vehicular homicide and DUI.

Separate funeral services will be held for the girls. According to a spokeswoman with Romero Funeral Home in Alamosa, the families scheduled the funeral services at different times so that people could attend all three services.

The funeral for Serena will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Sangre de Cristo School in Mosca, a small town 13 miles north of Alamosa on Colo. 17. She was a student there.

The funeral service for Selena is scheduled at 4 p.m. at the Abundant Life Church in Amalia, N.M., which is south of San Luis, Colo., on U.S. 285.

The funeral service for Anisa is scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday at the La Vegas Christian Center in Las Vegas, N.M.
