Dispensary Catches Attempted Robber On Camera

A robber crashed through the ceiling of medical marijuana dispensary early Sunday morning.

It happened at A Wellness Center near the intersection of Wood and Fillmore in Colorado Springs.

It was all caught on camera.

“I would say it’s definitely one for blooper reels,” joked Richard Perkins.

Perkins said he arrived at work Sunday morning and discovered the mess the attempted robber left behind.

“It seems he had one or more accomplices, possibly attempting to assist him, he said.

Perkins said the video showed a man jumping in through the ceiling. He believes the man then tried to let the others in through a back door that wouldn’t budge.

“He must have heard the alarm go off and reacted and fled the scene,” said Perkins.

Perkins showed us where the robber ripped through the roof to get inside.

Fortunately nothing was taken. But Perkins and his boss are now working to make repairs and clean up the mess.

They don’t have an estimate on the damage yet.
