2 Killed In Head-On Crash

Two people were killed in a head-on collision on Highway 50 Saturday afternoon.

State Patrol said the crash happened on Highway 50 bet, about 3 miles east of Salida.

A Ford Ranger and Dodge Ram were involved. State Patrol said the driver of the Ford crossed into the eastbound lane and hit the Dodge head-on.

The driver of the Ford, a 58 year old Littleton man, died at the scene. His passenger, a 59 year old Littleton woman, also died at the scene. The driver of the Dodge Ram was identified as 51 year old Terry Bradley from Durango. Terry was transported to Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs with serious injuries.

State Patrol said all the occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. Speed and inattentive to driving is being considered as the cause of the crash.
