1 Trapped In Car Crash
One person had to be extricated after a two-car crash on Academy Boulevard and Airport Road.
Colorado Springs police said the crash happened just after 1 p.m. Saturday.
One person was trapped in the car and firefighters had to take off the top of the car to get that person out, officials said.
Police said the victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Officials are still looking into the cause of the crash, but police said alcohol may be a factor.
