Man Assaulted, Robbed In Springs

Colorado Springs police are investigating a robbery after a man goes to a 7-Eleven saying he’d been assaulted and robbed.

Officers say the man was at the store on E. Platte, but lives in the 600 block of N. Wahsatch.

The victim says he was in his home with a woman when 2 men came in through an unlocked door.

Police say the two suspects assaulted him, stole some things, and ran off. No weapon was seen.

The victim was only able to provide a description of one of the suspects, as a black or Hispanic man around 5′ 10″ and 180.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he was treated for his injuries and released.
