Third Arrest In Motorcycle Club Murder

Fort Carson soldier Eric Bartholomew has been arrested on first-degree murder charges.

A reliable source tells KRDO that he was arrested in relation to the Sin City Disciples Motorcycle club murder.

A background check revealed that Batholomew was arrested in connection with the Sin City Disciples Motorcycle Club murder on March 3.

Fort Carson officials confirmed that Bartholomew is a Private with the 2nd Brigade Combat team, 4th Infantry Division.

Two other Fort Carson soldiers, John Burrell, 27, and Christopher Mountjoy, 30, were arrested last month in connection with the same murder and also face first-degree murder charges.

Police said there was an altercation during a party at the club March 3. Virgil Means was shot as he was leaving the club, according to investigators. He was taken to the hospital by a friend where he was pronounced dead.

Bartholomew is in the El Paso County jail with no bond.
