5 Juveniles Arrested In Pueblo West Burglary

Five juveniles have been arrested by the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office in connection to two burglaries at the same home in Pueblo West.

Pueblo County Sheriff?s Office detectives issuance of eight a total of 8 no bond arrest warrants for six juveniles connected to the March 10th and March 12th burglary attempts on a house in the 700 block of W Questa Drive in Pueblo West, deputies said. Five of those have been arrested and deputies are still looking for three others, said deputies.

The arrests concluded a 4-week investigation, according tort the sheriff’s office.

The investigation began when the homeowner heard glass break and called in an attempted burglary to the Sheriff?s Office at approximately 3:00 AM, on March 12th, deputies said.

When deputies first arrived they spotted a car leaving the area and a short vehicle pursuit ensued, deputies said.

The 15-year-old driver was later taken into custody, according to deputies.

Detectives were then able to determine the identities of five other juveniles associated with the burglary attempts as well as with several other burglaries and approximately seventeen thefts from vehicles, deputies said.

Because the suspects are juveniles their names are not being released.
