Marijuana Billboards Up In Denver
The first billboard in support of legalizing the recreational use of marijuana in Colorado is up in Denver.
Proponents of Amendment 64, the ballot initiative to legalize recreational pot smoking, say smoking marijuana is safer than drinking. The new sign went up Thursday. It isn’t very flashy. It’s not green and doesn’t even show any marijuana symbolism. Instead, it shows a woman asking whether preferring marijuana over alcohol makes her a bad person.
Colorado voters approved an amendment legalizing the medicinal use of marijuana back in 2000.
