Former Widefield Coach Arrested For Sex Assault

Widefield School District #3 is informing parents and guardians that a former assistant wrestling coach has been arrested for felony sexual assault.

Christopher Gonzales was arrested this week by Aurora Police. Gonzales was an assistant wrestling coach at Widefield High School from March 2007 – March 2011.

His offense was not committed at school and does not have any relation to any students at the school. The alleged assault occurred after his time at Widefield. The notification is simply to notify parents of an arrest of a former school employee.
